Molly Aaronson-Gelb is the Founder and Co-Artistic Director of Just Theater for whom she directed Far Away and Three Plays About Your Mom . She has also directed for Shotgun Players, Crowded Fire, the San Francisco Fringe Festival and worked with Berkeley Rep, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, California Shakespeare Theater, The Playwright's Foundation and the Hangar Theatre. She is a member of the Lincoln Center Director's Lab and was awarded an SSDC Observership Grant to work with Tony Taccone and The Culture Clash at Berkeley Rep in March.

Michael Barrett Austin is a Bay Area native who returned to San Francisco after earning a theatre degree from Whitman College and spending several years Kerouac-ing around the country, acting, writing and directing. In addition to playing several thrilling roles in Just Theater productions, Michael has worked with Berkeley Repertory Theatre, TheatreWorks, San Jose Stage, 42nd Street Moon, The Playwright's Foundation, The Pear Avenue Theatre, Shakespeare's Associates, The Shawnee Playhouse, and others. He is a member of the sketch comedy troupe Funny But Mean and AEA. He also maintains an alter ego as the Outreach Coordinator for the non-profit news site Antiwar.com.

Sibani Michael Bose graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Dramatic Arts (now Theater and Performance Studies). She recently began to pursue work in professional theater and was the rehearsal stage manager for Far Away . Other stage management work includes Caryl Churchill’s Owners (directed by Patrick Dooley), Tom Stoppard’s Travesties (directed by Sabrina Klein) and William Shakespeare’s King Lear (directed by Patrick Dooley and Joanie McBrien) all at the Ashby Stage. Bose is a company member of the Shotgun Players.

Alexandra Creighton's acting credits include California Shakespeare Theater, Marin Theatre Company, Aurora Theatre Company, Word4Word, Z-space, Theatre Rhino, Impact Theatre, the Playwrights Foundation, and three seasons as a company member with Crowded Fire. She is a member of the sketch comedy troupe Funny But Mean. Alex holds a B.A. in Drama with minors in Dance and English from Ithaca College, New York, and has trained with South Coast Repertory and the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, DC. Logan Granger designed sets for Far Away and the upcoming I Have Loved Strangers . He works as a project designer for a Bay Area construction company. He received his Masters in Architecture from Harvard Design School in 2004. His undergraduate degree is in Fine Arts, and he continues to create and exhibit solo work. He enjoys the collaborative process of creation at Just Theater and as usual he is getting by with a little help from his friends.

Ellen Kamoe has produced theater in the Bay Area for the past two years. She currently works for Planned Parenthood: Shasta-Diablo as a Development Associate, and got her non-profit start as a Grants Manager for Habitot Children's Museum in Berkeley. Later this year, Ellen will move on to work with Seacology, an environmental non-profit in Berkeley, and also has experience with anthropology museums. Her performing arts background includes seven years of dance, and she is currently studying Iyengar yoga, on her way to her teaching certification.

Aaron Loeb (playwright) is a four-time PlayGround Emerging Playwright Award winner and the recipient of the 2005 PlayGround Fellowship. His newest play, First Person Shooter will have its world premiere at the SF Playhouse in May. His short work has been performed around the country, including at LaMaMa E.T.C. His last full-length play, Brown was directed by Molly Aaronson-Gelb and produced as part of Crowded Fire Theater Company’s Matchbox Workshop series. Aaron has bachelor degrees in playwriting and dramatic literature from New York University.

Dina Maccabee has designed music-scapes for Just Theater, Shotgun Players, Crowded Fire, and SF filmmaker Christian Bruno. She performs in the Bay and around the country with artists Vienna Teng, Ramon and Jessica, the Real Vocal String Quartet, and Gamelan-X.

Anthony Nemirovsky is an actor, whose credits include California Shakespeare Theatre, Center REP, GEVA Theatre (NY), Napa Valley Rep, the Playwrights Foundation and Playground. He holds an undergraduate degree in Legal Studies with a Minor in Dramatic Art from the University of California, Berkeley, and has also trained with the American Conservatory Theatre. Anthony is a proud member of both Playground and the sketch comedy troupe Funny But Mean.

Maryanne Olson is a freelance dramaturg living in the Bay Area. Past dramaturgical work includes Kenneth Lin’s said Said (Marin Theatre Company), Tennessee Williams’ Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Hartford Stage) and A Streetcar Named Desire (Marin Theatre Company), John Strand’s Lovers and Executioners (Marin Theatre Company), Horton Foote’s The Carpetbaggers Children (Hippodrome State Theatre) and staged readings/workshops of Marisela Trevino Orta’s American Triage (Marin Theatre Company), Kenn Rabin’s Found Objects (Marin Theatre Company), Jen Silverman’s Crane Story (Bay Area Playwrights Festival), Erin Bregman’s Dora’s Rhapsody (Just Theatre), Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa’s Good Boys and True (Marin Theatre Company), Sam Hunter’s I Am Montana (Bay Area Playwrights Festival), and Sekou Sundiata’s The America Play (New WORLD Theater). She has worked at the literary offices of Marin Theatre Company, Hartford Stage, and New WORLD Theater. She received her MFA in dramaturgy from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Kathleen Schumacher is a visual artist. She recently graduated from the University of North Texas with a BA in Technical Theatre and moved to the Bay Area to pursue a career in scenic painting and lighting design. Kathleen first worked with Just Theater as the technical director for Far Away .

Linnaeus Bloom graduated from Bard College with a BA in theatre. He has worked regionally with Theatre de la Jeune Lune in Minneapolis, Arena Stage in Washington DC, and Zeitgeist Stage, a small fringe company, in Boston. His bay area credits include organizations such as Magic Theatre, Playwrights Foundation, Marin Theatre Company, Killing My Lobster and Theatre Rhinoceros. In his spare time, he can be found falling off the trapeze at the San Francisco Circus Center.

Jonathan Spector is the Co-Artistic Director of Just Theater. He is also the Literary Manager for Playwrights Foundation and served as Associate Producer for the 2006 Bay Area Playwrights Festival. Prior to moving west, he spent 4 years in New York, where he directed and developed new plays by Peter Morris, Madelyn Kent, Elizabeth Meriwether, Madeliene George, Constance Congdon, Andra Vebell and Paul Burns at theaters including Soho Rep, Ensemble Studio Theater, The Public Theater, BRIC theater, Little Theater, The Committee Theater and The Theater Studio. He has been a member of the Lincoln Center Director’s Lab, The Soho Rep Writer/Director Lab an SSDC Observer, and was a frequent collaborator with the Obie award-winning company, The Civilians.
